General Administration of Customs: Allow the import of Ugandan dried chili peppers that meet relevant requirements, and China and Ukraine have signed a protocol on the export of dried chili peppers and wild aquatic products to China.
On September 21, 2024, the beautiful Uganda, during the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation in September 2024 (Beijing time), the General Administration of Customs of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of Uganda signed two protocols on inspection, quarantine and sanitary requirements for the export of dried pepper and wild aquatic products to China.
On September 6th, China and Ukraine held a protocol exchange ceremony at the Ugandan Embassy in China. The representative of the General Administration of Customs of China and the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine, Tomwebaze, officially exchanged the text of the protocol. Chinese Ambassador to Uganda, Zhang Lizhong, Vice President of Uganda, Alubo, Foreign Minister Oudonggo, and others attended and witnessed the exchange.
Both China and Ukraine highly praised the spirit of President Xi Jinping's keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the summit, eagerly looking forward to close cooperation, working together to promote the Ten Major Partnership Actions for Modernization, deepening cooperation in agricultural modernization and various fields, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
