As a means of transportation on urban roads, the installation of traffic lights is essential. In contrast, light poles are an integral part of the traffic light installation process. Its main body consists of steel light poles, bases, cantilevers, support arms, tie rods, fixings and other accessories. Usually the color is gray or silvery gray.
2. Traffic light pole installation method:
So do you know how to install traffic signal light poles?
(1) Driving a motor vehicle on a traffic signal light pole.
When motor vehicle signal light poles are made of steel, round or polygonal hot-dip galvanized steel pipes should be used. There should be a threading hole 0.3~1m away from the ground on the pole shaft, and it should be equipped with a waterproof brim cap and fixing screws. There is a wire outlet hole at the lamp head installation place, and it is equipped with rubber and wire return hooks. Install a plastic or anti-corrosion treated metal waterproof pipe cap on the top of the light pole, and weld a fixed flange at the bottom of the light pole. Uniform reinforcements should be welded between the flange and the pole body.
(2) Non-motorized lane signal poles.
Non-motor vehicle signal light poles should be made of round hot-dip galvanized steel pipes, with threading holes left between 0.3-0.8m above the ground.
(3) Zebra crossing signal light pole.
Zebra crossing traffic signal light poles should be made of circular hot-dip galvanized steel pipes, with threading holes left 0.2m to 0.5m above the ground.
Signal light pole installation base:
The foundation foundation should be made of anchor concrete. The upper end of the anchor bolt is threaded, and the lower end is bent with an angle less than 60° or other similar anti-pull-out structures. The anchor bolt should be welded to the lower flange.
The inner diameter of the embedded wiring pipe should be greater than Φ50mm, and the bending angle should be greater than 120°.
The ground resistance of traffic light pole protection should be less than 10Ω.
